The 3chillies Way

Right from the word go, we've done things differently at 3chillies. When we set out 5 years ago, we wanted to create an environment where software development could be inspired, fast paced and agile. We wanted to cut out all of the unnecessary stuff to build practical solutions that would make a real contribution and that our customers would love working with.

We are fiercely proud of the business that we have created and continue to build. In a very busy half-decade, we have grown from two experienced Microsoft application developers in a rented office space to a whole team of web content management experts, .NET developers and integration specialists -  with a great list of delighted clients.

While we continue to evolve and grow, the things that make us tick remain the same: innovation, teamwork and commitment to our customers.

> How do you engage with clients?

It's very rare that a customer will come to us with a full list of requirements so we like to sit down early on, get inside your thinking and help form the project. We like you to bring us your great ideas so that we can build you something that gives you what you need. Our style is collaborative; we make sure there is ongoing contact throughout a project and make sure you are part of the team.

> Who do you typically work with?

We work with clients across all industry sectors. They are mostly B2B but we also have some public sector and B2C clients. Because we do a lot of website and web application work, we often work closely with marketing communication or business development teams.

> What development methodology do you use?

We use an Agile development process. We do all of the development work ourselves (we don't outsource). We think that this is really important for maintaining quality. We do, however, partner with design, usability and SEO agencies but, even then, we work very closely with them.
