Our Approach

Before building and implementing your Sitecore website, 3chillies provide a Project Approach Plan, which is a detailed plan that includes specific information on:

1. Define

We listen to your requirements and undertake analysis on your current website assets and approved designs to ensure that there is mutual understanding throughout the development process. 

2. Build and Test

Our development process is broken up into a series of "sprints".  Testing is carried out at the end of each sprint before the solution is passed over to our clients.

3. Content Migration

3chillies migrate the content from your old website to you new Sitecore site. Click here for more information on the migration process.

4. Quality Assurance (QA)

Before the Sitecore website goes live, it is important to ensure that the entire system has been through a rigorous QA test. The QA test is designed to highlight any and all problems within the site, from broken links to cross browser styling issues

5. User Acceptance Testing

A standard part of our approach to projects is to complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT). UAT gives the customer the opportunity to check that the project meets the scope and requirements that agreed during the "Define" phase.

6. Deployment

Deployment is usually carried out in-house at 3chillies, but if your IT team are up to the challenge, this can also be arranged.  

7. Handover and Support

Before the site is made available to the public, we will provide a product handover, which provides documentation on how to use the Site. We also offer an ongoing website support programme which we highly recommend.
